Wow no buy until Dec 2015! I’ll be so proud of you if you achieve it! 🙂 I can hardly even go a month without getting one beauty item… the makeup counters are my favourite places in any drugstore or department store. I love quite a few items in your wishlist but I’m not sure I should comment on any of them in case it makes it hard for you to stick to the ban ><

I really think I can do it, although some people said I couldn’t, and I cannot blame them. I really get sucked into sales mostly. Same here, I can still peruse the makeup sections, just can’t get anything. Please comment on them! I want to know if it is worth it or not. Don’t worry, I can stick the to ban! 🙂

Until December?! Girl, you realize that’s 9 months right?? I don’t know your reasoning, but holy wow. I couldn’t do it, I couldn’t even come close, so props to you for even trying. I want so many things on that list as well, and I am as well debating between Anastasia & Kat Von D. ❤

LOL your comment is so funny.
Yes, I do realize that it is an extremely long time, but I have so much makeup at home that I could actually hit pan on stuff and use products up! Plus, I gave myself until the Sephora Sale in December, so that’s something. I couldn’t do the full year (I started in Jan.)
Btw, people seem to really like the Anastasia, but people seem to really love the Kat Von D!

I know I always see people do empties videos and I’m over here like, I finished some makeup wipes? Lol. I buy too much, good for you girl, dang. I think I’m leaning towards Kat Von D honestly, but I get a discount on Anastasia so it’s hard to pick!

Seriously! I didn’t understand when beauty gurus actually finished products. It was like a foreign thing to me, especially when you know they buy Everything. I still don’t get how they do it. Thank you! You’re making me think I’m doing something great Lol!

I think they don’t use them quite as sparingly as most people because I know I don’t get set a ton of products or have lots of money to spend on products. So when I have an expensive palette, for example, I go gentle on it lol.

Out of your list, I own these:
Korres Lip Butters (in fact, I’m wearing one today, the Pomegranate) – thumbs up from me, try to buy them around Holiday time when they have sets, better value
Clinique Cheek Pop – huge thumbs up! I have Berry and Ginger Pop and I want to add Peach Pop to my collection
Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder – it’s nice, not wow
Guerlain Meteorites – YES YES YES! I have 3 of these and I want more…
The Body Shop Chamomile Makeup Remover – it’s nice
I’ll try to help you with your No Buy… by not suggesting anything to add to your wish list! Stay strong, sistah!

I love the idea of a “Makeup No Buy”. I’m also kind of in that mode. It’s great to revisit what you already have.

Great list! I’d like to try the Tarte Amazonian clay too 🙂 but it’s a bit pricey for me.

I always get mixed reviews that it is or isn’t oil free!

Haha. Are you able to get a sample or get reviewed in store?

Yes, I could go to Sephora and get a sample. But whenever I am actually at a Sephora, I forget all the things I wanted to try. I get too distracted 🙂

Haha! That place is, a place to forget about what you actually came there for and leave with everything that you had no intentions on buying!
