Manicure Monday: Zoya Caitlin

Zoya Caitlin:

Zoya’s nail polish in Caitlin is a pretty combination of purple, blue and gray. This can be worn year round. Caitlin is a versatile color because it is just dark enough, that it could be worn in fall/winter. Yet it contains the right amount of purple for it to be worn in the spring/summer months as well. For such a simple manicure, I got the most compliments when I wore it.

Would you wear this shade all year round? Are you more of dark or bright polish wearer?

    • Yes! It’s such a nice color and very versatile. I just looked up the color you’re talking about and it’s pretty! I, on the other hand, can’t seem to pull off darker shades. I am more of a neutral to bright color wearer!

      • Well you know if were like me this would a great place.lol no it would be rather boring. I see bright colors as being too much but I liked that color you were wearing,loved it. It was not too bright nor too dark

  3. That shade actually looks like the infamous Michelle Obama grey nail polish she wore at the Democratic National Convention a few years ago – my friend was OBSESSED with it.

    Looks great on you – you’re right, it’s a mix of grey blue and purple – I think it’s appropriate all year round.

    • Thank you for showing me the link! Now I know what you’re talking about. I do have a vague memory of this article. That’s awesome! She knows what she’s doing! Such a simple color/mani like this gets a lot of attention, even when I wear it at the mall, I’m always asked if it’s Essie.

      • Yes, it’s a very Essie-esque shade! Zoya’s formula doesn’t play nice on my nails (it peels off in sheets) so I’ve gotten rid of most of mine – too bad because they have some unique colours!
