WELCOME to one of my first lifestyle posts… where I will teach you how to make the meals/desserts/drinks that I love to make. My sister reminded me that my vanity post was really my first lifestyle post. Since it’s been a full week since the Poll, voting is closed and you all voted HELL YES to cooking posts, and I am so glad!
Let’s start with something easy first — Lemonade! It’s the perfect summer drink; Just picture yourself sipping on a tall, cold glass of lemonade on a very hot day. Ahhhh…
Here are the ingredients:
6-7 lemons (or enough to make 1 cup of lemon juice)
1 cup of sugar
6-7 cups of water
1. Roll your lemon on a flat surface to get those juices flowing. Cut it in half and start juicing those lemons, preferably into a measuring cup to make life easier. Pour into a pitcher.
2. Measure out the sugar and go ahead and add that to the pitcher.
3. Fill up the remainder of the pitcher with water. Stir.
Taste it! Too tangy? Not sweet enough? This is the time to add more sugar. Serve with ice in a mason jar and a straw for a great summer drink experience.
EnJOY! I hope you liked the first of many “Lifestyle” and “Cooking | Baking | Drinks” posts. Check out my sidebar. I was so excited to add those as the newest Titles in my Categories section!

Lemonade is my most favoritest drink on the planet!!!! Thanks for doing this as your first (or second) lifestyle post 😀 I like to add loads of mint for a Moroccan-style, or some club soda for fizz. But I haven’t made my own lemonade, so I’ll give your recipe a try this week!

I LOVE lemonade! I also love it when it’s mixed with another juice, like strawberry lemonade! I like how you have an old school wooden juice thingy.
Can you please make iced tea next. I keep meaning to try making some from scratch since I have SO much tea in my cupboard! 🙂

Too cold to get out of bed or do anything really at my parents’ house but I love living near the coast, as it doesn’t get too cold and the sun is bliss 🙂 Even though it’s chilly, I try my best to make the most of my days 🙂 How warm is it there? Make me jealous! haha

Aww that sounds wonderful actually! It has hit above 90 degrees here and slightly humid. Sometimes hard to breathe in the house in parts that have no AC at all. Just installed huge fan that goes into the window and I always have my fat girl fan (small fan) blowing onto my face.
