Naked 3 | Rose Gold Makeup Look

IMG_3532

I always strayed away from pink eye shadow until I received the Naked 3. Transition colors and highlights in make it more wearable for my features. Let’s get started!

+ This time I primed with Benefit and followed up with a “frosted dirty peach” paint pot as it is described on the website to make the eye shadow pop. I always saw it as a light pink sheen than a peach. I used four eye shadows including a mauve crease color, dusty pink lid, highlight color, and a brown/gold for the outer third of my lid. I did natural winged liquid eye liner, lined my waterline with nude liner, and lined my tight-line with black liner. That tickled me a little too much! Then, I did my brows with a brow mousse. I curled my little eyelashes and made sure the curl held all day with my mascara.

+ For lips, I apply lip balm. Then I go in with MLBB shade and top it off with a pinkie nude gloss.

Lips: Bite Beauty Musk | L’Oreal Blushing Harmony

+ I just followed my everyday makeup look for its flawless base, but this time, I bronzed my skin. I loved it! I never do this on the regular so this was a nice change. I chose a matte soft plummy pink for my blush.

And now we’re done! I’m trying to use the Naked 3 more and more.

What’s you favorite way to use the Naked 3 palette?

  1. I got the naked palette 3 for my birthday. I was really torn between 1 and 3, but I went with 3 anyway.
I like using the mauvey tones of this palette on my eyes and then I pair them with a mauve lipstick and maybe nars sin (a mauve blush) Mauve overkill. 😀 . I also tend to use ‘Strange’ for highlighting my brow bone and for adding that shimmery touch at the corner of the eyes.

  2. Lovely! I’m always wary about using pink eye shadows too. I try to keep the pink colour on the lid portion and then use brown / taupe in the crease and transition. Also, it’s important to use a black liner to the lash line to keep the pink separate from the eye area – it’s almost like I need to outline the pink colour to keep it separated.
