Best Smelling Bug Repellent Ever!

You must be wondering what kind of bug repellent *actually* smells good. Look no further!

I was watching a Pitch Perfect 2 interview where the ladies discuss the camping scene and what they had to do to prepare for it. One of the main things that stuck out was that they doused themselves in Victoria’s Secret Amber Romance. Apparently, manly fisherman have been using this famous VS scent to ward off mosquito bites, and it actually works better than most bug repellents and citronella candles. So on the docks and in their boats, you’ll find tons of empty bottles of Amber Romance. Go figure!

Let’s just say this is my scent for the summer. It actually smells good, where I assumed it would be sickeningly sweet. The website says:

“… Refreshing formula is infused with conditioning aloe vera and calming chamomile. Spray on for a sexy touch of scent.”

“Amber Romance is a warm and alluring blend of black cherry, crème anglaise, vanilla and sandalwood. It belongs to the Secret Garden collection.”

So far, so good. Not one mosquito bite yet!

Basically, if you’re more of a warm vanilla scent fan, this is your new bug repellent, I mean, fragrance for the summer!
