Monthly Favorites is fairly new to my blog. I will try as much as possible to post my Favorites of the month, but I can’t always guarantee them. For me, I don’t change things up too often, so you’d see the same favorites every month until you’d see it in my Empties

Makeup/Skincare:

Laura Geller Blush n Brighten  Shade: Como and highlighter in Portofino – Strobing. Strobing is all you hear in the beauty world right now and even though I have oily skin, I decided to give this highlighting technique a try. It’s beautiful! I wouldn’t do it for the daytime as much due to the oily reason, but at nighttime, when the light hits you at the right angle, it’s so pretty. I get it, strobing fans. I get it.

ABH Brow Wiz Shade: Medium Ash (Yup, I still have this discontinued name) – I never really understood the hype until this was the only brow pencil I had left. I usually only used it when I would go to events. Now that I am using it almost every time I wear makeup, I have come to appreciate the thinness of the pencil and its ability to mimic brow hairs in all the right places. I feel that this is the only pencil where you can go natural and/or bold using the same color.

IMG_4408Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter – Shade: Cotton Candy – In the summertime, I lay off the brighter and bolder lip colors and go for the more sheer and natural lippies. This is usually because either I am not wearing any makeup or if I am, it’s usually just tinted moisturizer and bronzer. This is the perfect sheer pink color for my lips.

MUFE Full Cover Concealer – Shade: 07 Sand – For my no makeup makeup days, sometimes spot concealing is my best friend. That’s were my MUFE Full cover waterproof concealer comes in. It looks just like skin! It’s very natural and covers up blemishes really well and lasts a long time.

La Roche-Posay Serozinc – I think I’ve added a great addition to my skincare routine with this one. This was overly hyped by bloggers from all over and I’m glad I was able to see what the hoopla was about. It’s a toner spray that you use after cleansing but before your skincare creams. I feel that if I don’t use it, my blemishes take longer to heal. Also, it’s refreshing to use in the summer!IMG_4407

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel Clinique lover right here – I am biased! But now I have more reason to use this moisturizer. I stopped using this to try out the French skincare and one of the goodies was a moisturizer. Towards the end of that product’s life, I went back to Clinique and the next day, I got compliments on my skin. I wondered why and it was all thanks to my beloved Clinique. I never understand why I stray away from my true love; possibly from boredom. If ain’t broke, don’t fix it – especially when it comes to skincare. But I tend to go by if ain’t broke, break it!

Non-makeup/skincare favorites:IMG_4157

VS Amber Romance Body Mist – If you read my post on this body mist, you already know the very strange reason why I use and like this. It really works! I even got some family members to use this.

Forever 21 Rhinsetoned Ear Jackets – Color: Silver/Clear – I love my ear jackets because it gives the illusion of either another piercing or a floating earring. These can be worn with both casual and formal clothes and really adds interest to your outfit and jewelry game.

These are the favorites I had for the month of July. Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed my Favorites post. Have you tried any of my favorites? What did you think of them?

  2. Great faves! Love the brow wiz and the MUFE concealer. I probably need to throw mine out because it’s at least 3 years old! Ugh, hence my new no buy til I run out rule.

  3. You STOP encouraging the strobing BS! 😛
How did I KNOW the earrings would make it into your favourites? You really should buy a back up of them – I fear that Forever 21 merchandise aren’t made that well and they likely won’t hold up for too long. I just don’t want you to be sad!
    Clinique DDM 4eva!

    • OMG it’s funny that you say that because I was thinking the same thing… that I need a back up of those earring jackets that I love so much. So far, I am extra careful lol sometimes my hair gets caught in it.
