OOTD: Nighttime Birthday Look

IMG_5636

I had this outfit planned out for months. Crazy, I know, but I really wanted orange to be my color. Since I had the outfit down, all I needed to do was focus on accessories.

My friends and I met up at Miss Wong’s, which is an underground speakeasy underneath the new famous restaurant Talde. In case you didn’t know, Chef Dale Talde is best known for competing in TopChef. I actually had to change the location last minute from Porta to Miss Wong’s because I was upset that they no longer had a DJ. I had a lot of fun and we ended up going to LITM and a third place as well.

My outfit was pretty loud, so for the accessories they needed to be neutral. I chose one of my favorite statement necklaces that I seem to really wear on my birthdays. Tradition? My earrings are hard to see, but I wore gold dangling earrings with an arrow hanging from the bottom. My rings looked like stacked rings and the other one looked like it could have hurt someone due to it’s sharpness. My wedges made me a bit taller which was nice, but I probably should have opted for a more foot friendly option. But hey, at least it looked good!

Thank you to my friends for an unforgettably awesome time.

What is your favorite color to wear?

  1. You ROCK this outfit SO hard! Wow, I’m in awe that you can pull off colours like you do. I’m just too reserved – for my friend’s wedding, she asked me what colour was my dress, I said, “Black” and she laughed, “Of course, why did I even have to ask!” 😛
