I had this outfit planned out for months. Crazy, I know, but I really wanted orange to be my color. Since I had the outfit down, all I needed to do was focus on accessories.
My friends and I met up at Miss Wong’s, which is an underground speakeasy underneath the new famous restaurant Talde. In case you didn’t know, Chef Dale Talde is best known for competing in TopChef. I actually had to change the location last minute from Porta to Miss Wong’s because I was upset that they no longer had a DJ. I had a lot of fun and we ended up going to LITM and a third place as well.
My outfit was pretty loud, so for the accessories they needed to be neutral. I chose one of my favorite statement necklaces that I seem to really wear on my birthdays. Tradition? My earrings are hard to see, but I wore gold dangling earrings with an arrow hanging from the bottom. My rings looked like stacked rings and the other one looked like it could have hurt someone due to it’s sharpness. My wedges made me a bit taller which was nice, but I probably should have opted for a more foot friendly option. But hey, at least it looked good!

Thank you! Too bad I can’t wear outfits like this anymore. It’s getting so cold so fast!

That’s true. I get to wear clothes I haven’t worn in months and they feel so cozy 🙂 Thanks for reminding me that it’s a nice change!

You ROCK this outfit SO hard! Wow, I’m in awe that you can pull off colours like you do. I’m just too reserved – for my friend’s wedding, she asked me what colour was my dress, I said, “Black” and she laughed, “Of course, why did I even have to ask!” 😛

Thanks girl!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Black is chic! We are opposites – I am just so used to wearing colors. I love colors the way you love black. I tried to do a neutral outfit (absolutely no color) and I couldn’t do it. At the very last minute, I threw on my orange RM bag and changed my accessories. I feel that I can’t pull off all neutral as everyday colors. That’s just me. Sometimes when I wear a black shirt, people are like – WHOA. You look different…Lol

Yes, people are shocked when I wear colour – they all say I should wear it more often but it’s just not my comfort zone!

That’s actually a great idea because that’s practically your costume! Do you dress up? Is that a silly question? LOL Spoiler Alert, I do- For both babies and then my friends at night.

Nope I stopped dressing up after university (for parties) I just can’t be bothered anymore! I don’t want people at work to mock me or get stares on the subway. I throw on that orange blazer with black pants and I’m good to go! What did you dress up as last year?

I do whatever the nephew/niece want — He loves firetrucks. I have talked to many firemen because of that little boy. So he was a fireman, I was a fire girl, and his little sister was a cute ass Dalmatian.
