I’m back on my makeup favorites again in addition to lip care and a perfume!

Makeup:

MAC eye shadow  Shade: Ricepaper (Peachy gold with shimmer [Frost]) – This is my ride or die highlight for the brow bone, inner corner, or the middle of the lid for dimension. This is the highlight that most complements my skin tone. As you can see, I have hit pan on it and love it to death!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick Shade: Kasbah – Rediscovery in my lipstick collection! Usually I go for a more pinkie coral shade as my everyday lipstick, but since it is fall, this terracotta shade is it. I can wear this for an everyday look and even for a smoky eye. Even the color reminds me of autumn. I tend to go for orange shades in my lipsticks and this is just a muted version of the orange color that I love dearly.

NYX Powder Blush – Shade: Taupe –
Contour worn here – Look at all the places I’ve hit pan on this thing; I thought I’d never see the day. Even though this is marketed as a blush, I treat it as my only contouring powder I have ever owned, tried, and loved. It gives me a great contour and appears nicely on the skin, it is blended easily, and lasts a very long time. I would recommend this product to anyone as this is a drugstore gem in my eyes.

Eve Pearl Dual Salmon Concealer Treatment – Some days you just look more tired than other days. This is my solution to that problem. The appearance of any darkness or bags underneath the eye area simply disappear when you use the salmon concealer alone. Blend it in well and top it off with any concealer of your choice. It has saved me for the times I have come home too late but needed to look presentable the next morning.

Non-Makeup:

Taylor Swift Enchanted Wonderstruck Roller-ball Perfume So for the summertime, my scent was set because it was a multipurpose product. For fall, I don’t necessarily have a fall scent, but I do tend to wear this roller ball quite frequently because it has a nice balance of sweet, fruity, and floral (“…an irresistible blend of luscious wild berries and sugar-glazed petals wrapped in a touch of sensuality for a captivating signature.”)IMG_6561

Kiehls Lip Balm #1 – I like how simple and honest the packaging is on this lip balm. Kiehls is known for their no frills packaging because their products are so good they don’t need any extras. The honesty comes from their claims of what this lip balm does — “Temporarily protects and helps soothe dry lips…” This lip balm looks more like a shiny lip gloss without feeling sticky. I like putting this on whenever I feel my lips are slightly dry. They make the lips look good and glossy, too.

These are the favorites I had for the month of October. Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed my Favorites post.

Have you tried any of my favorites? What did you think of them?

  1. So much pan! 😀 It shows you truly love these pieces. It’s also nice to rediscover things in your stash huh! I do wish Kiehls lip balm would come with a slanted applicator… just would be nice. Have you tried the flavoured ones? I love the pear one.
