Avocado is known as nature’s butter due to its rich, silky texture. Avocado toast is something that is a special treat because I rarely have it but love to eat it. It’s easy to have this simple dish as breakfast, lunch, dinner or even a snack.

- Cut the avocado in half, remove pit, and scoop the avocado into a bowl.
- Add about a teaspoon of lemon juice, a drizzle of olive oil, and salt and pepper, to taste.
- Mash the ingredients together with a fork and add the red pepper flakes, to taste.
- Spread mixture onto each piece of toast.
Feel free to add more to this recipe to make it even heartier. For instance, you can add an egg on top, smoked salmon, or bacon. There are endless possibilities all depending on your taste!
