Body/bath products always seem to win at Empties Posts. I also have hair, perfume. makeup and skincare empties.
List of Products:
CoverGirl Clump Crusher Mascara – Worn here – Another makeup product finished! This mascara lives up to its name since there were absolutely no clumps in any of my makeup looks. It does not provide length, but it does provide a lot of volume, the kind of volume where the lashes are coated nicely to look thicker instead of clumped together. I enjoyed it.
Repurchase? This was my second tube of this mascara, I don’t see why I wouldn’t get it again.
Batiste Dry Shampoo – Review – I’m not sure what I would do without this hair product. It’s for your second or third day hair; It’s the time it looks its best but just needs help if you tend to have more oily hair. This product instantly absorbs any excess oil and makes the scalp look and feel fresh.
Repurchase? Yes – always
Pantene Classic Clean Daily Shampoo – It took me an extremely long time to finish up this 40 fl. oz. bottle of shampoo. I don’t particularly have a favorite shampoo, but this product did the job to keep my hair healthy. My hair felt clean, smelled good, and was not left greasy, and that’s basically all I ask for in a shampoo.
Repurchase? Yes
St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub – Before you think this scrub is way too rough for your face, I agree; I don’t use it for my face. I actually use it as if it is a body scrub. What’s good enough for your face should be even better for your body, right? Since this scrub says it’s for deep exfoliation, it’s perfect to use this on your legs, especially if you shave. This helps prevent those nasty bumps that are a pain to get rid of. I always need a body scrub in my life.
Repurchase? Yes – Excellent scrub for winter.
(Deluxe) Samples:
Balance Me Super Toning Body Wash – I didn’t think much of this body wash. Maybe I was already turned off by how “natural” the product was. The smell was okay. The body wash did not feel like it cleaned extremely well.
Purchase? No – I could do without this body wash.
Clarins UV Plus HP Ecran Multi-Protection SPF 40 – (no link – discontinued) You may have seen a post I made on this beautiful product and how upset I was when I went to purchase it, only to find that it was discontinued. I was excited to find a second deluxe sample in my stash, but now that I have completely used all of it, once again, I am saddened that those were literally the last drops of Clarins SPF I would ever put on my face!
Purchase? I would if I could. Trust me!
Marc Jacobs Honey – I have this never ending stash of perfume samples and I’m happy I was able to finally finish one! MJ Honey smells sweet yet floral just as real honey would. It’s a pleasant, happy scent.
Purchase? No, I’ll stick to MJ Daisy.
Swisspers Hypoallergenic 100% Cotton Rounds – I decided to include the items that help me in my skincare/makeup routines. I’ve been using this cotton for about a year and the main complaint I have is that in the rare event that I put too much micellar water, the side of the cotton that has the embossed texture tends to leave pieces on my fingers.
Repurchase? I have an endless amount of this stuff.
Puffs Plus Lotion – This extremely soft tissue is great for my sensitive skin. I have used this when I have had a cold, but for the rest of the year, I place it on my vanity. It’s very useful for quick touch ups or if I want to clean something such as a makeup brush.
Purchase? Yes – Useful and the packaging comes in cute patterns.
Have you tried any of my November empties? What’s in your empties this month?
I’ve got a nice sugar and salt scrub, if you want to check it out! It’s soft enough to use on your face! https://kylahjoyce.myrandf.com

The Batiste dry shampoo is love. Did you try it in other fragrances? I noticed I like the formula more in the Cherry and Blush version. The Original one is too powdery for my hair.

Thanks for stopping by! I love Batiste. I plan on trying the one for dark hair soon. I have tried blush and I like it but I tend to always get original. I’ll try cherry!

Thank you! I hope you use it. Just remember anything good for your face is great for your body! That’s what I learned in my no buy. Lol

I really liked the Clump Crusher too – gives nicely defined lashes.
Phew I almost had a heart attack when I saw the St Ives Apricot Scrub! Thank goodness you don’t use that on your face! Way too harsh. Oh how we were all young and carefree once upon a time. 😛
Have you tried this version of the Clarins sunscreen?

I knew you’d think it would be crazy to be on my list of face scrubs. I’m sensitive, girl! I used to think everyone got red and irritated and that’s just how scrubs worked! Hahaha
Thanks for the link. It looks very similar to what I loved! If only I could get a sample without committing to a $40 spf right away. Hopefully it pops up as a sample in Sephora!

I hope so! You’ve loved the other version so much – why must they always discontinue the good stuff?!

You’re so thoughtful! And I totally agree – they gotta listen to their customers.

Definitely. I’ve got to give other dry shampoos a chance though. I really love Batiste!

I feel like Batiste does the job so well that I don’t want to try another brand aha

Trust me. I’ve felt like that for years. But I have deluxe samples of other dry shampoos. And I have that lush one called drought. I only used it a couple of times and the powder gets messy if you’re not used to it.

Oh I am not a big fan of powder types of dry shampoo! Spraying it on is so much easier 🙂 I once tried a really cheap one and it made my hair so greasy and heavy on my head. Was worth buying Batiste to replace that! Although I wish the Batiste scents were a little better

I haven’t tried all the scents yet! Just blush and original. How about you?
