My thoughts
I have oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin and this primer doesn’t break me out, irritate my skin throughout the day, and keeps my grease-ball self in check. It keeps my makeup on for hours. I only have to touch up once, and by touch up, I just mean I need to blot my face. My oil production is through the roof, so I can’t blame any makeup product/primer for that.
This primer keeps me less oily throughout the day compared to ones I’ve tried before. I used to only use this for special events and quickly realized that since this is formulated without parabens, the product expires quickly. Therefore, once you buy this product, aim to use it all up before it hits its shelf life.
Repurchase? Yes – This is the second time I’ve purchased this face primer, and I just keep going back to it! I was thankful to run out of my previous bottle right when my Makeup No Buy was over. So I never had to be without a wonderful, useful primer.
I had a deluxe sample bottle of this but it didn’t work for me – I felt that it made my skin more oily which is strange. I passed it to a friend and she loves it – go figure! Glad it works well for you and it’s a repurchase. 🙂

Aw! I guess it’s made for oily skin? Who knows. I think it’s silly that it made your skin more oily. Does your friend have oily skin? Now I’m curious!

I only recommend a face primer if you need your makeup to last for hours. Otherwise, I never saw the point of them before! Hourglass is great!
