December Empties | 2015

IMG_7776

As often as I can, I will display my empty products of the month. These are for the month of December. I don’t know about you guys, but I feel like it is one of the most satisfying feelings to actually finish up a product you bought. It sometimes feels like it was worth the money.  I am actually really surprised that I was able to finish up five products to the very last drop. Another thing to know about empties is that I will also let you know if I would repurchase the product, now that I am out of it.

List of Products:

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Wash – This body wash is a repeat-empty! Now you know I love it. It has a great, yet subtle scent and moisturizes the skin in the shower. The effects last all day.
Repurchase? Yes!

Caldrea Tea Olive Lime Body Wash – This deluxe sample body wash had a very thick, jelly-like consistency. It was difficult to pour out of the bottle. The smell was okay and the body wash itself wasn’t my favorite. It didn’t feel like it cleaned the skin as well as other body washes I’ve tried.
Purchase? No

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Blush – Batiste Fan – I’m a fan of Batiste, no matter what size it comes in. I used this for travel and ended up using up the rest. Blush is a floral scent, smells very girly, but when it’s in your hair, it’s not overpowering at all. The dry shampoo gets rid of any excess oil and keeps the hair and scalp looking and feeling fresh.
Repurchase? Yes!

Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream – I’m impressed with Yu-Be’s social media because they really reach out to their fans. We now follow each other on IG! I like this especially for dry patches anywhere on the skin. This cream smells medicated and takes getting used to, almost like the scent of a salve. It’s very effective and can be used on the lips as well. Although, I liked it more as an extremely moisturizing hand cream.
Purchase? Yes

NEW! Lifestyle-Empty
Natural Nectar Peppermint Mini Mints – I decided to include a lifestyle empty because it’s one that has been kept in my bag and used as a breath freshener throughout the day. These mints are small, yet strong and they taste great. They do disappear fast, so I tend to take two at a time.
Repurchase? Yes!

How do you like the addition of a lifestyle empty? Let me know!

  1. Never heard of Yu-Be – looks neat! And it’s good to hear of a brand that has good social media presence. 🙂 So many of the more established brands are clueless!
I love mints! I just finished a pack of Tic Tacs in an assorted cinnamon and peppermint flavour. 🙂 I just started a tin of Trader Joe’s Green Tea infused mints which is a bit odd but I like them.

    • I agree! The big brands don’t show if they care.

I love those green tea mints! I used to have them all the time. They are weird, especially when I offer it to people, but if you love green tea, they’re great 🙂
