HAPPY NEW YEAR to all my lovely bloggers and readers!
I can’t believe it’s almost been a full year since I hit “Publish” for the first time. Because my blog is reaching its “Blogaversary” or “Blog anni” or “365 Posts,” I just want to put it out there that I will no longer be daily blogging. Daily blogging was extremely fun for me, but it was also a challenge.
Don’t get me wrong; I still want to blog, but I won’t be putting out content once a day. I was thinking of either writing up a schedule of what days and how many times a week I’d post, but I think I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it.
Thank you for being such awesome readers, conversationalists, and friends. May your new year be prosperous and as great as you are!
I still have 4.5 weeks of daily blogging left, so let’s make it count!
I hear you on the daunting task of frequent blogging! It became so time consuming that I had to switch to once per week. I miss it but in a way I enjoy it more, too. Can’t wait to see what you have in store for 2016!!!

Thank you for understanding me Liz! 🙂 Once a week sounds nice because you can really put all you’ve got into that one post for the week!

ahh I enjoyed your daily posts! I do agree that blogging can be a challenge, even if it’s just once a week! I actually wondered how you could push out posts so often like you do. And yeah, a blogging schedule really does help. I normally post on Mondays and Fridays, and maybe Saturdays, and sometimes throughout the weekday if I’m not swamped by homework.
Happy New Year!
XOXO,

Happy New Year! Thank you for saying that and again, thank you for your Favorite Bloggers post. I’m still happy about that! Hehe 🙂 Blogging daily is a challenge and now that it’s coming to an end, I’m happy my blog has a lot of content and I will continue to push out content, just not everyday!

I completely respect your decision to end daily blogging. It was quite a challenge for me to go through Blogmas for 25 days straight – I have no idea how you managed to keep this up for 365 days!
Are you doing a low-buy for 2016?
My blogaversary is also coming up! ❤

Thank you for understanding 🙂 Yes, challenges like Blogmas are tough to keep up with! I guess I’m doing a low buy in my head, because I’m definitely not buying as much makeup as I used to. How does low-buy work?

For Low-buy, I just set a dollar amount for each month and make sure my spending is within that allotted amount! I posted my plan:

I hear ya! I think I just kind of transitioned into 3 times per week shortly after I hit my 1 year! Lately, it’s been 2 because I’ve been in the process of moving+the holidays, but I’ll be back on my regular schedule starting this Monday! I was separated from my nail polish collection for a week! GAH!

Thank you! So it’s normal to want to change up the schedule after a year of blogging. Good to know 🙂 Hopefully you and your nail polish collection are reunited!

It always amazed me that you would put up a daily post and I always looked forward to reading them. You definitely deserve that break from posting daily!
Happy New Year!
