My favorites are the products and items I tend to use everyday! Let’s get started.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush – Color: Mood Exposure – I find myself reaching for this soft plum blush because it goes really well with a bold lip. I usually pair it with a red lip because it doesn’t overwhelm my face, but it still gives me enough color to add dimension to my cheeks.
Jo Malone (in general)– Review – Wood Sage and Sea Salt – I got this bad boy for Christmas and I’m so happy with the scent. I love it so much for everyday wear. I believe it is not as strong smelling as the Peony or English Pear ones.
MAC Well Dressed – Worn Here – MAC describes this color as “Immaculate Pink,” whatever that means! It’s a cool toned pink blush that I had no idea would look nice on my warm skin tone. I thought it would be chalky and look funny on my cheeks, but every time I wear it, I am pleasantly surprised by the results. I have used this a few times a week every week for the month!
NARS Satin Lip Pencil – Color: Rikugien – Worn here – Review – I can literally wear this lip color with any makeup look, from dark and smokey eyes to a natural daytime look, I reach for this soft, moisturizing lip color! It’s MLBB.
Non-makeup favorites:
Alex and Ani Euphrates Beaded Bangle – Shiny Silver Finish – I have been wearing this piece of arm candy every week this month. It goes well with casual clothes as well as formal. It’s a versatile bracelet that’s easy to slip on and go.
These are the favorites I had for the month of December. Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed my Favorites post.
Have you tried any of my favorites? What did you think of them?
Not sure why I don’t have MAC Well Dressed – it’s so pretty! Actually, I find cool toned blushes to look very striking on warm skin tone – it doesn’t clash for some reason!
Jo Malone makes your favourites list all the time, doesn’t it!
Also, just want to say that your photography in this post looks really good. 🙂

Well dressed is something I stayed away from in my collection, but now I reach for it all the time.
Jo Malone is the best!
Thank you so much for saying that. I’ve been trying to get better at photography little by little but it is so hard! 🙂 I need to work on moving people next. Even harder for me!

I keep seeing great reviews of Well Dressed – now I’m sorely tempted b/c you have warm skin, too!
I gotta try that NARS lippie, too. I find I haven’t been wearing red lips much – the horror!
Jo Malone for Christmas! How elegant!

Get Well Dressed! I have photos where I’m wearing it and if we have similar skintones, you’ll see it’s surprisingly nice on the skin. I think it’s great!

Oh I’ve been eyeing that Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt. I smelled it in store and tried it but the scent didn’t seem to last long. I’ve read other reviews too that the lasting power isn’t that long. What’s your take?

I would have to agree. Because out of all the scents I have, WS&SS is the “weakest” of the three I have. I don’t think that’s a bad thing because Most of my perfumes are like that in general. I think it’s worth it for the scent. It’s so unique!

I’m going to keep this one in mind then. I’ve wanted to check out Le Labo as well so I will see which one I end up choosing. Thanks for the advice. 🙂

I’ve been wearing the Wood Sage and Sea Salt for over a year now and it’s my favourite simple perfume for minimalist days. So wonderfully simple, yet richly complex. Transports you away to a blistering sea side ❤

Love that you described it that way. You should do a review on it! I really like how unique the scent is so I’m happy I got it as a present. 🙂
