I’m doing a Project Focus 10 with three beauty bloggers. I am trying to finish up 10 products in the span of 10 weeks. A new PF10 post on any updates along with a product review of one of the products will appear every Monday. It’s a challenge for me because the products must be ones I’d never done a full review on before but are still on the market!
Quick update on PF10 progress:
Because this is just the first week, there’s not much to say other than I am trying to use up these products on a daily basis. So far, so good!
Here’s a review on 1/10 PF10 products:
Rimmel Match Perfection 2-in-1 Concealer and Highlighter in 335 Light/Medium
Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer is honestly a drugstore gem to me.
Skin Tone adapting concealer
Conceal signs of fatigue
Highlight & Illuminate eye area
Soft precision brush for the delicate under-eye area
Price: For .23 oz, $5.49 but varies by location
Packaging: Thin, flexible plastic tube with a blue twist off cap that has a soft brush tip as the applicator
Formula: Creamy concealer for the under eye area
My thoughts
This concealer is awesome for the under eye area. It’s a great texture because the creaminess of the product makes it easy to blend out the under eye area without having to tug or pat at the skin. It’s also the best match to my skin without being too light or too dark. Since I’ve been using this everyday for Project Focus 10, I am realizing that this may be one of my favorite under eye concealers.
What’s your favorite drugstore concealer?
Be sure to follow these bloggers for their Project Focus 10 as well!
I think that my favourite concealers are by Nyx (I have three different ones that I use).

I’ve never tried nyx concealers! Good for under eye area or blemishes?

I have one that I use for dark circles, one for any redness, or blemishes, and one that I use more as a highlighter!

Ooh I feel like I just read a review on the salmon colored one and it looks good!

I think I saw that this morning as well. I’ve reviewed three of them here at some point – maybe in my best of 2015 post…

I have wondered about this one, but never committed to purchasing it. The creamy formula is a huge selling point!

Seriously. It looks like nothing special but since it’s my best color match and easily blended and creamy – it’s a drugstore gem!

I love how we all chose base products today! 😀
I used this concealer before and I really liked it for the under eye area because it doesn’t crease. The brush applicator is a bit annoying through – so pointless.

Agreed. I don’t need the brush applicator because I don’t blend it with that brush. That would be gross. And omg! I just picked a base product at random 🙂

Ooh, I’ve been looking for an undereye concealer! Maybe I’ll give this one a shot (or one of the ones recommended in the comments!)

Yes! This is great if they have your shade especially. I also liked Maybelline fit me from the drugstore!

Wasn’t a fan of the foundation from Rimmel but this concealer sounds nice!

I have tried a few, the Match Perfection one I just didnt get on with at all! Although the Full coverage lasting 24hr one (can’t remember the name lol) seems quite nice after I tried a sample! Never tried any of their liquid concealers tho!

Interesting! I’ve rarely liked a Rimmel product, but this sounds pretty good. I’m usually pretty loyal to MAC Studio Finish (for blemishes), though I’m currently working through a pot of NYX Full Coverage Concealer, too. It’s just OK, not as good as the MAC but I guess it’s cheap and a decent color match.

Interesting. Thanks for the nyx mini review because I was wondering about it. MAC studio finish is what I use for nights out or if I’m gonna take pictures. It lasts and looks great!

I recently picked up MAC’s Full Coverage foundation compact b/c I heard it was really close to Studio Finish concealer, just much cheaper by unit price. Gotta try it soon!

I agree! This is a great concealer. I used to use it religiously a few years back. Dunno why I haven’t repurchased it. It does give a gorgeous highlight and conceals nicely. I don’t think I have a current drugstore fave concealer! :O I’ve been using and trying high end ones but I do Want to try the cover girl ready set gorgeous concealer since I absolutely love the foundation I’m curious to see if the concealer is just as good:)

Good to know that the foundation is good. I was thinking of not trying it just because all the Youtube reviews I saw were all sponsored by CG!

It’s so worth trying! Very inexpensive and it’s such a good foundation! – non sponsored. 😛

I just started a similar project! http://bit.ly/1LTShta
Love the products you picked! I have the same Batiste. I like to use it for volume even on days I don’t need dry shampoo, as my hair sometimes needs to be perked up!
