Project Focus 10: Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe

IMG_8086I’m doing a Project Focus 10 with three beauty bloggers. I am trying to finish up 10 products in the span of 10 weeks. A new PF10 post on any updates along with a product review of one of the products will appear every Monday. It’s a challenge for me because the products must be ones I’d never done a full review on before but are still on the market!

Here’s a review on 9/10 PF10 products:

NYM’s Texturizing Sea Salt Spray

IMG_8112Not Your Mother’s Texturizing Sea Salt Spray is all in the title.

  • Texturizing Sea Salt Spray: Now everyday can be a day at the beach… minus the sunburn.  Beach Babe has everyone fooled into thinking you just left the beach (you little liar!). It adds sexy, tousled waves and a light matte finish to any hair type.  Infused with natural Dead Sea salt & sea kelp this salon formula has you and your hair on the boardwalk all year long.

Price: $30.00 for 8 fl. oz.

Packaging: Blue and white spray bottle

Formula: Sea Salt Spray

My thoughts

I have used this product for years and a bottle really does last a very long time. It’s my first texturizing sea salt spray and I used to use it just to give me some texture and grit for when my hair felt flat and dull. Now I use it after I have curled my lob or put some waves into it. It really holds the look together giving me texture and making my hair easier to style. The hold is not crunchy or hard in any way and that is what I love about it. It definitely smells like a sea salt spray, which I don’t mind at all. I even think the salt in the spray helps to keep oil at bay. I would definitely repurchase this, as I am about to run out of it soon!

What’s your favorite hair product at the moment?

  2. Glad you’re feeling better! 🙂
Between you and Jodi, I’m more and more tempted to hunt down NYM hair products. They’re not sold in stores here so I’d have to order online. I’m trying to picture what a “sea salt spray” scent is… salty?
