1. How does my work differ from others in my genre?

I started out as a beauty and makeup blog and now I have incorporated fashion posts as well (OOTDs). I differ from others in my genre because of Manicure Mondays. It’s my way of expressing my creativity and wanting to share and teach it to others. (This is also why I am posting this on a Sunday like a rebel.)

2. How does my writing/creative process work?

I usually bang out a couple posts in a day and schedule them to go out during the week. I like to do that so I have rest time in between. It also gives me enough time to take pictures and edit/proofread. I used to type and post every single day. I find my way now to be easier. I keep a list of ideas whenever one pops into my head, I write it down or type it into my phone. For instance, when I am tagged for Q&A’s like these, I take a picture of it and only delete it from my album once I have completed it. It helps to keep me on track always.

3. Why do I write or create what I do?

It’s my way to start writing everyday about things that I actually like and enjoy. There are so many people in the beauty community that have so much in common besides makeup. I have met great people here and I am grateful for the amount of followers I have. I’m always so happy when I hear that ring that I’ve gotten another new reader. In addition, it’s a space where I can talk about whatever I want to talk about even though I only keep it to a minimum of makeup and skincare, nails, etc. I don’t think I will ever treat this blog as a diary.

4. What I’m working on at the moment?

I’m actually working on something that will be new to my Blog — a mini haul. Read it this weekend!
