Remember that little Sephora Sale that happened in November? Here are my winnings!
I utilize the big Sephora Sales as a time for me to finally buy what I have had my eye on for weeks, months, or even years. Only a true beauty lover would understand that kind of mentality.
Skincare
Everyone is a huge fan of Caudalie products, and I never understood why until I finally tried this magical micellar cleansing water. Micellar waters are seen as too weak to fully remove makeup, and you usually need about 3-4 cotton pads to actually feel squeaky clean. With this Caudalie product? It completely removes your makeup in the gentlest fashion that I am so mad at myself that I didn’t get the gigantic bottle. I’ve learned my lesson.
Clarins has been a favorite brand of mine, even when they discontinued the best SPF ever. Because they discontinued it, I have to try and find the next best thing. Clarins has the same SPF but they just change up the formula ever so slightly. This isn’t the best, but I’ll have to keep using it to form a real opinion on it.
Bite Beauty has been raved about for being so natural, you can literally eat their products. Not that I’ve tried, but that’s good to know. They have changed the terrible, peeling packaging to a better one. I’m not sure why this lip product was raved about since it’s extremely thick and sticky, to the point of it being almost uncomfortable. I don’t see that it makes my lips moisturized in the long run, only temporarily. Of course, I’ll be using it up regardless, but I’m disappointed in such a hyped up product.
Makeup
Hourglass Primer is hands down the best face primer for my oily skin. I’ve tried others to see if they could do a better job, but so far nothing compares to Hourglass. It has the best wear time and controls my shine for hours, much longer than any other primer product. I only need the 0.33 oz one because any bigger, and the product expires before I can fully use it up. My face is extremely small and trust me, I don’t need a lot of product.
Fresh Sugar in Coral is my first full sized product as I always had samples or deluxe samples of their lip treatments and loved them. I’m glad I picked this color, but I’m sad that this color only looks good if your lips are already smooth. I’ve noticed that unlike the other colors I’ve tried, this one tends to cling onto the lips rather than help to moisturize them at the same time.
Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer is in a shade that looks exactly like my skin tone, which is great if you don’t care for highlighting certain areas of the face and strictly want to conceal them. I love how smoothly it applies and how it blends out beautifully. I would highly recommend this for all skin types.
Anastasia Brow Definer is a triangular tipped brow pencil. It’s thickness makes for faster application, but it may deliver a harsher line. Luckily, Anastasia’s products have the best spoolies on the opposite end to help blend those harsh lines out. I still like the Brow Wiz more.
Perfume/Brush
Chloe has been a perfume I’ve liked since I had the samples from Sephora. It smells so fresh, flirty and floral. When the sale hit, I knew it was my time to buy perfume, as they never ever go on sale!
NARS Ita Brush is what I have been wanting for years. I never felt the need to buy it because I thought ‘I have brushes that can apply makeup the same way!’ NOPE. This is a game changer. I understand reviews that say the brush is scratchier than most, but my makeup looks flawless when I use this to bronze/contour my cheekbones.
These are all of the products I purchased from the 2016 Sephora Sale. I think I went a little crazy, but this only happens once a year, amirite?
Let me know what you recently got from Sephora in the comments below!
Heyyy! It’s YOU.
The Sephora sale is the best time to unleash all those wants on your list!
I bought the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask back in April and I hated that thing – I returned it! Here’s my review of it:

I’m not sure why people rave about it either.
Hmm I also reviewed the Nars Ita brush and the UD Naked Skin concealer… let me know if you want to read. They’re not favourable! 😆
Chloe perfume is one of my go-to scents! I love the classic rose scent!

Hey girl! 🙂 I totally agree. Sephora sale is the only time to go crazy. Of course I’m gonna use up all my products cos that’s just what I do! I have a ton of empties (for me) and I’ll most likely do a post on that soon. I’m pretty much collecting garbage at this point. Lol

I’m a fan of the Hourglass primer too. I won’t be investing in the full size since I don’t use makeup often.

Oh never. That tube is huge. A lot of wasted product if I get that one. Plus if you get the smaller one, it’s fresh every time!

Chloe has become one of my favorites. I had to wait until I finished a perfume or two to get this one!
