Hair Review | Batiste Dry Shampoo

IMG_3235

This is the product that I always use but somehow never mention in my blog posts. It is Batiste Dry Shampoo. The packaging is a tall aerosol can with a brightly colored design. The price is $7.99 varying by location. The formula is a white colored powdery spray that fades into the hair.

My thoughts

I have tried other dry shampoos and none compare to Batiste for my hair. My hair is on the oily side, just like my skin. I wash my hair, my second day hair isn’t super oily yet, the third day is oil city. TMI? Anyway, this is where the Dry Shampoo comes in, to extend my hair’s life for its third day out. I don’t think I could ever pull off going out in public on the fourth day, with or without dry shampoo!

I tend to part my hair down the middle, raise the can above my head (around 8 inches away) and spray that area. Then, I use my fingertips to massage the powder into the hair and scalp until the powder is invisible. I repeat this step for both the right and left side part as well. I love this stuff and it has become a weekly staple for my hair care routine.

Would I repurchase? Yes, I have been purchasing and repurchasing this product for years. There once was a sale, a perfect time to stock up, and I got two bottles for a little less than $8.00. What a deal!

What is your favorite dry shampoo?

  1. This is one of my hair staples too. Although I do try to wash my hair regularly, sometimes when I just can’t be bothered this stuff is an absolute life saver! 😛 plus, it smells great 🙂

  2. I’ve never seen this brand in my area, but maybe because I always use the tresume dry shampoo and haven’t looked at it. I’ll keep my eye out next time I need more dry shampoo. BTW, I think dry shampoo is one of the best hair products invented!!!! I have oily hair too
