Tag Tuesday: The Blush Addict Tag

IMG_2150

I saw this tag on the StashMatters blog and decided to do it as well! It just looked so fun and I only talked about blushes when I did my top 5 spring blushes.

What color blush suits your most?
Peachy-pinks all the way! If they are orange-pink or coral-pink, those are great as well.IMG_2157

Pressed, cream or loose blush?
Pressed blush because who has time to deal with cream blushes? I’ve tried loose mineral blushes but the ones I had were not pigmented enough.

Favorite shimmery blush?
Milani Luminoso has not only the perfect amount of shimmer where you look highlighted, meaning you can nix strobing for a day, but you also would not look like a disco ball.

Favorite matte blush?
Tarte Blissful has the most impressive lasting power out of any blush I have ever worn. Matte blushes sound boring, but this is highly pigmented and brighter on the cheek than in the pan.

Favorite cream blush?
Clinique Rosy Blush is the only cream shadow I can work with especially since it comes in stick form and the blush is a neutral rose shade. I mainly use this during the Fall/Winter months.

Favorite drugstore blush?
NYX in Peach, even though it’s not peach at all – it’s a medium cool toned pink. This blush surprises me every time I come back to it. How are you so pigmented, inexpensive, and found easily at the drugstore?!

Favorite high end blush?
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette – Those three blushes separately or mixed together are beautiful.

Biggest blush disappointment?
Benefit Dandelion does not show up on my skin at all. I don’t know how else to use it!

Best blush packaging?
I would say MAC Spaced Out with its Neon Orange packaging. It’s fun both on the outside and the inside.IMG_2152

What’s on your blush wishlist?
These are all blogger recommended blushes, of course:
Clinique Cheek Pop in Ginger Pop or Berry Pop
Milani in Coral Cove
L’Oreal Perfection True Match Blush in Nectarine

Can you tell how much I like Corals?

Holy grail blush?
Can we discuss how sad it is that my holy grail blush is Limited Edition from MAC? Spaced Out from Mac is my all time favorite blush from its neon orange packaging to its pretty peach duo-chrome with a soft pink sheen.

This was so fun! I TAG YOU to do this!

  1. So glad you did this! 😀
Look at that pan porn on the NYX and MAC blush! The naming convention of NYX blushes baffles everyone – peach that’s NOT peach? Mocha that’s not brown at ALL? I swear they are all having a laugh at NYX HQ.
Have you ever tried to find a dupe / replacement for the MAC Spaced Out blush? I read somewhere that it’s apparently similar to MAC Dainty blush?

    • This was so fun to do!!! Probably one of my favorite tags to do.

I actually can’t believe I hit pan on both. It shows how much I loooove them.

Seriously. NYX is crazy. I have a lipgloss called Beige — definitely pink/no beige whatsoever.

I have tried to find a dupe, but it was from a brand that I never heard of or saw in my life.

If it’s similar to Dainty, then I’m getting it in December! LOL I should just go to a MAC store with what’s left of my Spaced Out and just find a dupe!
